Celebrate Sacramento's First Cinco Denio's

This Cinco de Mayo weekend, join Denio’s Roseville Farmers Market & Swap Meet for the inaugural Cinco Denio’s event on Saturday, May 4, 2013. As “a fiesta of fun for everyone,” the Cinco Denio’s celebration will include a delectable assortment of authentic Mexican food, traditional dancing and mariachi bands, plus a low-rider car display, handmade treats and, as always, tons of fresh produce.

The Cinco Denio’s fiesta will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes fun for the whole family. Authentic Mexican food will be available for purchase including tamales, menudo, deep fried jalapenos and more.

You'll also enjoy mariachi music on Denio’s stage performed by nine-member band Mariachi Los Callos and accompanied by traditional folklorico dancers. Local youth folklorico group Folklorico Aztlan de Sacramento will also perform – this group of kids, ages four to 16, is sure to impress the entire crowd. A live three-member traveling mariachi band will also be in attendance to delight guests as they walk through the custom low-rider car display comprised of cars affiliated with local car clubs including Low Rider Legacy.

As always you're invited to try new produce items and stock up on all of their favorites in the Denio’s produce market. Denio’s also has a host of unique, handmade treats and crafts to purchase, perfect for Cinco de Mayo festivities the following day at home or a community park.

Denio’s is open every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. There is a $3 parking fee per car, so Denio’s encourages families to bring their friends.
