5 Arrested in West Roseville Home Burglary, Strong-Arm Robbery

A group of five — two young adults and three teenagers were arrested Monday in connection with three incidents in Roseville including a strong-arm robbery and a residential burglary in west Roseville.

Around noon on Monday, Feb. 13, which was a school holiday, officers responded to three incidents involving a group of teens and young adults in west Roseville. 

First, a vacant house on Donnelly Court was burglarized, and a group of teenagers was seen running away.  Soon after that, a group of youths confronted a 14-year-old boy on Junction Boulevard at Country Club Drive, hit him, and grabbed his iPod.  Next, a 14-year-old girl reported that while she was walking in the 2500 block of Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard, a group of older teens she didn't know called out to her and started following her.  She used her cell phone to call her mother, who in turn called Roseville Police.  Fortunately, the group didn't touch or try to make further contact with the girl, and continued to walk toward Junction Boulevard, according to Roseville Police.
Roseville Police officers located the group near Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard and Junction Boulevard, and made five arrests.  Officers believe the same group was involved in all three incidents. 

Jerome J. Said, 21, and Ronald James Williams, 19, both of Sacramento were arrested on suspicion of robbery, burglary and related charges.  Said is being held in the Placer County Jail on $110,000 bail.  Williams is being held on the same charges, and on a no-bail Sacramento County warrant for attempted murder.  

A 17-year-old male and a 14-year-old male, both from Citrus Heights, and a 17-year-old girl from Antelope were also arrested and taken to Placer County Juvenile Hall.
