Summer Movies in the Park Lineup Announced

Mark your calendars for free Movies in the Park this summer in Roseville.

They're back and this year's movie lineup includes family favorites like "Chicken Run," "Over the Hedge," and "Bee Movie."

Sponsored by the Roseville Coalition of Neighborhood Associations, the free starlight cinemas run from June 9 through Aug. 25 this summer. Residents can mingle with neighbors and grab a seat on the grass to watch a movie under the stars.

Movies begin at sundown on a 30-feet screen.

Food and drinks like hot dogs, teriyaki, popcorn and snow cones are sold at 7:30 p.m. Before the show, bring a shirt to tie dye for $3 at one of the booths.

• Saturday, June 23 at featuring "Chicken Run"
• Saturday, July 14 at featuring "Over the Hedge"
• Saturday, July 28 at featuring "Swiss Family Robinson"
• Saturday, Aug. 11 at Fred Festersen Park featuring "Bee Movie"
• Saturday, Aug. 25 at featuring "Despicable Me"
