A Baby on the Way: It’s a Girl!

For the last nine months,  my husband and I had no clue if we were waiting to meet a little boy or girl. Then, on Tuesday, Oct. 30, we met her: Raegan Elizabeth Gibbs. She was born 6 pounds 15 ounces at Kaiser Roseville, 10 fingers, 10 toes, healthy and happy.

The next day, on Halloween night, we got to take her home and ever since, our days and nights have been filled with sleep-deprived diaper changes, midnight feedings, staring contests and being entertained by her little noises and goofy faces.

While I've been slowly getting into a rhythm, learning what each cry means and trying to soak in every moment with my baby girl, Roseville Patch has been in good hands with guest editor Robyn Eifertsen.
