It’s Official – Maidu Library Will Reopen Saturdays

Starting August, the Maidu Library in Roseville will be open again on Saturdays. A celebration will be held Aug. 6.

The will reopen on Saturdays starting Aug. 6.

City Librarian Natasha Casteel said the library was closed last year as part of 2010 budget reductions. Since then, Maidu neighborhood residents have been asking regularly when the library would reopen on Saturdays.

“The community was very active and vocal,” Casteel said.
