Thieves Kick-In Doors During Residential Burglaries Near Cirby Way

A number of door kick-in burglaries have been reported lately in Roseville.

Within a four-day span last week, three door kick-in burglaries were reported in Roseville, all in neighborhoods near Cirby Way.

According to Roseville Police, two were reported in the Cirby Ranch neighborhood.

Between noon and 7:15 p.m. July 15, someone kicked a hole in the front door of a house in the 1800 block of Hiddenview Lane and opened the door. No one was home at the time and it's unknown what, if anything was taken.

Between noon and 12:45 p.m. July 12, someone kicked in the side door of a garage in the 1600 block of Gardenia Way and went into the house while the resident was out, ransacking an entry way closet and the master bedroom. Cash and a raquetball racquet were taken.

At 2:30 a.m. July 14, a resident of the 1300 block of Greenborough Drive heard a loud noise, and found that his front door had been kicked in. The burglar(s), probably realizing someone was home, did not make entry or take anything. A neighbor saw a blue four-door sedan leaving the area right after the incident.

Door kick-in burglaries were also reported earlier this summer in Roseville.
