Business News: Jericho Coffee to Close Saturday

Enjoy live music one last time this Saturday at the coffeehouse.

will close this Saturday, June 9, the Sacramento Bee reports.

The family owned, Christian-themed coffeehouse opened in November 2006. They’ll say farewell with music and festivities at the shop from noon until 8 p.m. Saturday.

"Unfortunately, the dollars for this type of business are tight, and people just seem to be waiting till things turn around before spending their discretionary dollars," owners Franc and Sheri Woods told the Bee.

In a message to Facebook fans, the owners wrote:

It is with mixed emotions that we have decided to close Jericho Coffee.  It has been a good 5 1/2 + years filled with many new friends, new ministries, great music, and of course great coffee!
