Business News: The Sandwich Shop to Open, Bunz & Co. to Re-Open, More

A quick look at Roseville business news including a JC Penney remodel, Omega watches coming to the Westfield Galleria at Roseville and more.

In this month's roundup of business news, we have news of a new eatery specializing in sandwiches, a few new changes at the Westfield Galleria at Roseville, a soccer store and more.

Here’s a look at businesses news in Roseville, according to the City of Roseville's economic development department:

The Sandwich Spot: This new business will take over the former Peet’s Coffee at 1010 Pleasant Grove Blvd., suite 130 in Roseville. The Sandwich Shop has a number of locations in the Bay Area and Sacramento. The first location opened in 2005 in Midtown Sacramento. Visit their website for more information.

Bunz & Company: This popular Roseville sports bar by owners Jim and Julie Sweet, and will soon re-open under new management. The new owners plan to keep the same Bunz & Company brand, the City reports. Bunz & Company is located at 311 Judah St. Stay tuned as we get more information on the restaurant’s revival.

Kombat Soccer: Kombat Soccer opened a temporary location at 415 Roseville Square, that will be open through Sept. 15. Kombat Soccer has two other locations in Sacramento. They sell soccer and rugby uniforms and equipment. They may open a permanent location in Roseville in the future. Visit their website for more information.

The Neptune Society: A cremation service will open an information center at 9650 Fairway Drive, suite 120. They have locations across the country, but this will be the first in northern California. Visit their website for more information.

American Montessori Elementary School: This school will take over the former Rock of Roseville location at 143 Clinton Ave.

At the Westfield Galleria at Roseville:

JC Penney: The store plans to undergo an approximately $225,000 remodel within their Roseville location. JC Penney has submitted permits to remodel approximately 5,000 square-feet, according to the City of Roseville's economic development department.

Omega: The watch and jewelry shop will open soon at the Roseville mall. They specialize in sporting watches, jewelry and more. Visit their website for more information.

Hallmark: This card- and specialty gift shop will be relocating to the upper level near Macy’s at the Roseville mall
