Stieber's Sweet Shoppe Opens This Weekend at the Fountains

This family-owned candy shop is celebrating its grand opening at the Fountains at Roseville.

There's a sweet new addition to the Fountains at Roseville — Stieber's Sweet Shoppe is gearing up for its grand opening celebration.

The shop will officially open at 3:30 p.m. today, Oct. 12. Other festivities will follow throughout the weekend. On Saturday, Oct. 13, they'll have live kids music, face painting, candy sampling and drawings.

This family-owned candy shop will feature 200 bulk bins full of candy, bars and nostalgia brands, as well as sugar- and gluten-free candies.

The candy shop is owned by the Stieber family, which includes Larry and Susan Stieber and their children Caryn and Doug Brustman, Jeff and Mindy Stieber and Julie and Scott Marlin. The Stiebers are no strangers to doing business in the Roseville area. They also own two European Wax Center franchises.

“We wanted to open a store that brings people together. We want a place where everyone leaves our store feeling happy," said Larry Stieber, owner at Stieber's Sweet Shoppe, in a news release. "Our passion for candy and being part of the community is at the heart of Stieber's Sweet Shoppe. It's definitely going to be the “sweet spot” hang out and go-to shop for everything sweet.”

The shop will also have candy stylists on hand to create holiday gift baskets, wedding and baby shower favors and birthday party decor.

In addition to selling candy, the shop will also give back to the community. Guests will be able to designate 10 percent on every purchase to a nonprofit organization of their choice.

"Every purchase is a fundraiser for your favorite group," Susan Stieber said in a news release.
