Windy Weather Expected Wednesday, Thursday

Consider wearing a hat today or forgo styling your hair: It’s expected to be a windy one.

According to the National Weather Service, there’s a wind advisory for the Sacramento area from 9 a.m. today through 6 p.m. Thursday. That means that winds are expected to be around 25 mph with gusts over 40 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

Windy weather can impact driving conditions and may cause local power outages.

Roseville Electric also encourages people to secure loose outdoor items like lightweight patio furniture and holiday decorations.
