Fiddler on the Roof

Roseville Theatre Arts Academy (RTAA) is proud to present Fiddler on the Roof, the classic story of survival, through tradition and joyfulness, in a life of uncertainty and imbalance, as their 2013 Main Stage Production. Tickets are $13.00 at brownpapertickets.com or $15 at the door.

Fiddler on the Roof tells the story of Tevye, a poor dairyman from the small village of Anatevka, as he tries to instill in his five daughters the traditions of his tight-knit Jewish community in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. Fiddler on the Roof is considered by many to be the last show of Broadway's "Golden Age."  RTAA’s production is led by a team of Elly-award-winners: director Michelle Raskey, musical director Jennifer Vaughn and choreographer Gino Platina, and features local favorites such as Clocky McDowell in the role of Motel, Adrienne Mars as Golde, and CBS 13/CW 31’s Mike Mechanick in the iconic role of Tevye.

Fiddler on the Roof runs September 20th through October 12th with performances Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door or $13 through brownpapertickets.com. The Roseville Theatre Arts Academy is located at 241 Vernon St, Roseville, CA 95678 in the historic Roseville Theatre.
