NEW MUSICAL READING and SILENT AUCTION

This event is to raise funds for a new musical, Zuccotti Park,
written
by playwright, Catherine Hurd of Dixon,
with music by Vatrena King of
Winters.
Melanie Smith of Sacramento will
be directing. There will be a

silent auction, cash bar, and snacks
served, and some live music from

the play. Zuccotti Park explores the beginnings
of the Occupy Movement

through the fictional story of a young soldier who--
while crossing paths
with

protesters in New York City--
must come to terms with how our

country's financial system
is run and learn what it really means to be

an American.
