Well, since you asked, whatever happened with the results of the poll about "who's to blame for the high gas prices"?? As far as I know, they were never revealed, and some of us were wondering why.

Why is 'blame for gas prices' even a poll? Unlike a flavor of ice cream or pop music or a movie, it is a fact that energy companies have been making record profits for 10 years. -- In the 4th Quarter of last year, Exxon earned profit of $9 Billion. Per day, that amounts to about $100 Million in profit. http://www.forbes.com/sites/steveschaefer/2012/01/31/exxon-beats-estimates-as-100-oil-paints-over-rough-patches/ BP made profits of 7.6 Billion in the 4th Quarter http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2012/feb/07/bp-announces-25bn-annual-profit and Chevron got in trouble by "only" earning 6.2 Billion in the 4th Quarter. http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/01/11/us-chevron-idUSTRE80A2GI20120111 Energy company profits are good for our 401(k)s but bad at the pump -- you can't have it both ways.
