Multiple Thefts, Burglaries, Vandalism at Roseville Schools

Recently, Roseville Police have received multiple reports of school vandalism, thefts and burglaries. Eich Intermediate School has been burglarized and vandalized multiple times and Roseville Police are searching for suspects. Also, the Adventure Club, located at Eich School was also vandalized recently. Vandalism has also been reported at Roseville High School and a theft at Cooley School's Adventure Club.

Last week, we reported . Roseville Police report that the vandalism at the school occurred sometime between June 16/18, when an unknown suspect(s) used red spray paint to deface a mural, several walls and doors within the school grounds. Video surveillance captured two male subjects on the school grounds (). 

The City of Roseville’s Parks & Recreation Adventure Club located on the school property was also vandalized and burglarized between June 15/19.  An unknown suspect(s) damaged the roof on a portable room to gain access.  The suspect wrote obscenities on the walls and paint was dumped on the floor and on the furniture, causing extensive damage.

Break-in at Roseville High School: Window Broken, Wall Damaged

Between June 20/22, someone broke a classroom window and caused damage to a wall at Roseville High School, 1 Tiger Way.

Flower Pots Stolen from Cooley School

Between June 15/18, someone stole two flower pots from the front of the Adventure Club classroom located at Cooley School, 1751 Morningstar Dr.

Catalytic Converter Thefts:


Between June 16/17, someone stole the catalytic converter from a 2003 Toyota Sequoia SUV that was parked in the driveway in the 2400 block of Bent Tree Dr.

On 6/19 at 6:00 a.m. a resident came out to his vehicle and interrupted a male suspect attempting to steal his vehicle's catalytic converter in the 100 block of LaVina Ct. The male left in a black Honda driven by a female.  Officer's located the vehicle and 32-year-old male and 31-year-old female were arrested for attempted grand theft and other related charges.

Between June 19/20, someone stole the catalytic converter from a 2002 Toyota Tacoma Truck that was parked on the street in the 600 block of Bridgeford Dr.

Between June 19/20, someone stole the catalytic converter from a 2005 Toyota Sequoia that was parked in the driveway in the 600 block of Bridgeford Dr.

Between June 21/22, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Toyota Sequoia parked in the driveway in the 200 block of Halley Glen.

On 6/22, someone stole the catalytic converter from a 1996 Toyota 4-Runner in the 10001 block of Woodcreek Oaks.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest

On June 20 at 4:28 p.m. a 34 year-old-male from Rocklin was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and other related charges after intentionally ramming his vehicle into an occupied vehicle near Highland Park Dr/Pleasant Grove.

Residential Burglaries:

Thursday, June 21

Residential vandalism: At 9:32 p.m. on 6/21, someone kicked the front door security screen of a home in the 1300 block of Pilgrims.  An officer arrived and checked the area, but was unable to locate the unknown suspect(s).  No entry was made and nothing was taken.

Friday, June 22

Between June 22/23, someone forced entry into a vacant residence in the 300 block of Clinton and stole a stereo.

Sunday, June 24

Garage burglary: Between June 24/25, someone ransacked a garage in the 700 block of Central Park Drive and stole a duffle bag.

Vehicle-Related Crime:


Wednesday, June 20

On June 20 between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m., someone stole a white 1995 Honda Accord, 4-door from the 400 block of Atkinson.  At approximately 2:15 p.m., an officer located the unoccupied vehicle in the area of Rocky Ridge Drive and Straugh.  A citizen reported he saw a Hispanic male, mid-twenties, exit the vehicle and began speaking with a Hispanic female, mid-twenties, brown hair, that was standing on the sidewalk.  The two were last seen walking towards Douglas Blvd. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate them.

On 6/20 between 6:15 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. someone smashed the window of a parked car at a business parking lot in the 100 block of Eureka Road and removed a cell phone.

Between June 20/21, someone removed a purse and a bag of clothing from a vehicle parked in the parking lot in the 1600 block of Eureka Road. At 2:57 a.m. the victim's credit card was used at a nearby gas station.

Between June 20/21, someone keyed a vehicle parked on the street in the 800 block of Cordwell Circle.

Thursday, June 21

Between June 21/22, someone shattered a vehicle's window parked in the business parking lot in the 300 block of Vernon.

Between June 21/22, someone removed items from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway in the 100 block of Lone Oak Court.

Friday, June 22

On 6/22 officers responded to a report of a male subject on a bike looking into a parked vehicle at Eureka/Taylor roads. When officers arrived they found the vehicle's window shattered.  The 27-year-old male looking into the vehicle was arrested.

Between June 22/23, someone poured an unknown substance on a vehicle in the 500 block of Castillian Ct., damaging the paint.

Sunday, June 24

Between June 24/25, someone stole a silver 1992 Honda Accord, 4-door, from the apartment complex parking lot at 800 Gibson.

Thefts:

Between June 19/20, someone stole two lion statues from the front yard of a residence in the 400 block of Misty Haven.

Between June 21/22, someone stole 10 sets of wheels/tires, and buffer patch machine with fittings from a storage yard in the 400 block of Riverside.

Between June 21/22, someone stole a wooden trunk containing gardening tools and boots from a front porch in the 400 block of Bonita.

Between June 20/21, someone entered a snack shed in the 100 block of Alta Vista and removed alcohol and candy.

Between June 18/19, someone removed equipment from a boat that was parked in the business lot in the 9000 block of Atkinson St.

Between June 22/23, someone stole an "Adventurer" Tandem Bicycle from the front porch in the 300 block of Washington Blvd.

Between June 20/21, someone stole two bicycles from the front porch of an apartment at 5 Marcia Way.
