A tip from Roseville Police:  Roseville Police had several reports of detached apartment garage units being burglarized at night in apartment complexes throughout the city. They think the suspects are jamming a wedge or other device in the top of the garage doors, forcing the doors open and disabling the garage door opening mechanisms. The victims return to their garages and find they can't open the doors with their remotes.  Some of the victims haven't been calling police to make a report because they didn't have anything stolen. We'd like victims to call us anyway so we can keep track of this trend and look for possible leads. Also, please call in any suspicious activity, especially if you see someone tampering with a garage door or examining the top of garage doors.

A 27-year-old male transient was arrested on suspicion of burglary.  The stolen items were returned to the victim.
