Crime Watch: Breakdown of Recent Reports

Crimes reported in Roseville, listed by area on Oct. 31, and from Sat., Nov. 3 to Sunday, Nov. 11, include a vandalism on Halloween night, car and catalytic converter thefts and home burglaries.

Northeast Roseville

Olympus Pointe - Residential burglary, 1800 block of Grazziani Way. Nov. 5, 10:20 -11:30 a.m. Suspect entered a home through a bedroom window and moved items around. Nothing was reported missing.

Johnson Ranch - Motorcycle stolen, apartment complex at 1751 E. Roseville, Nov. 6, 5-7:30 a.m. Black 2001 Harley Davidson sportster reported stolen.

Johnson Ranch - Vehicle burglarized, 1801 Eureka Road apartment complex. Night of Nov. 7 and 8. Tools reported stolen from the back of a pickup truck.

Johnson Ranch - Apartment burglarized. 1801 Eureka Road, Nov. 9, between 6:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Shotgun reported stolen along with jewelry, television, and other electronics.

South Cirby - Catalytic converter stolen, 1300 block of Sheridan Ave., overnight, Nov. 8 and 9, Catalytic converter reported taken from Toyota Tacoma pickup.

Cirby Ranch - Suspicious activity leads to the arrests of a juvenile, 17, and a man, 20 on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy and narcotics possession. Stonebridge Way and Oak Ridge Drive. Nov. 12, 2:45 a.m. Police responded to a resident's call about people parked suspiciously in a vehicle. Officers arrived in the area within minutes finding two males in black clothing, carrying backpacks. Officers searched their car and found burglar's tools, heroin and stolen property from six burglarized vehicles in the area.

Sierra Gardens - Vehicle parts stolen. 1200 Gerry Way, Nov. 6, between 6:30 and 9 p.m. Tail light assembly reported taken from a parked pickup.

Central Roseville, south of the tracks:

Cirbyside - Pickup stolen, 1000 block of Orlando Avenue, Nov. 6 and 7, between 7:30 p.m. and 9 a.m. A dark gray 2006 Ford F350 pickup reported stolen from a lot. Sacramento County Sheriff's Department deputies found the pickup in the Carmichael area with removed license plates.

Cresthaven - Catalytic converter stolen, 1900 Ajay Drive, Nov. 7 and Nov. 8 between 3 p.m. and 2 p.m. Catalytic converter reported stolen from a Toyota Sequoia SUV.

Cresthaven - Vehicle vandalized, 700 block of Portside Circle, between 9 p.m., Nov. 10 and 11 a.m., Nov. 12. Someone keyed a parked Nissan Sentra.

Folsom Road - Business break-in, 400 block of Folsom Road. Nov. 11, 4 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm activation at a laundrymat. The door was pried open. Nothing reported damaged or taken.

Central Roseville, north of the tracks

Roseville Heights - Attempted burglary arrest, 300 block of Berfkeley Ave., Nov. 3, 12:43 a.m.  A resident heard someone trying to open the front door of her house. A window screen was removed. They detained an 18-year-old Roseville male, wearing dark clothes and gloves, in the area, and arrested him on suspicion of attempted burglary.

Roseville Heights - Vehicle theft, 200 Pacific St., Nov. 12, 3:30 a.m. A carowner reported a white male suspect in his 20s wearing a black cap, brown jacket and blue jeans driving away with his 2012 Toyota Camry four-door sedan after he left in running in front of his office.

Los Cerritos - Residential burglary, 700 block of Grove Street, Nov. 5, between 4 and 8 p.m. Laptop computers and other items reported stolen. Burglar or burglars possibly entered through a rear window.

Los Cerritos - Residential burglary, 900 block of Main Street, Nov. 8 and 9, between 6:05 p.m. 7:15 a.m. An iPad reported taken. A burglar or burglars are suspected of having gotten into the home by reaching through a doggy door to unlock a door.

Kaseberg-Kingswood - Catalytic converter stolen, 200 block of Lafayette Drive, Nov. 7 and 8, between 10:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. Catalytic converter reported stolen from a parked Toyota 4Runner.

North Central Roseville

Foothills and Junction boulevards - Stolen vehicle, 2000 block of Gold Mine Way, Nov. 8, 6:10 a.m. A resident reported that he was warming up his white 2003 Dodge Ram pickup in the driveway of his home when a male jumped in it and drove away. The suspect was described as having a large build with a goatee. He reportedly wore an Adidas-brand blue hooded shirt with white stripes.

Pleasant Grove - Vacant house burglary, 1600 Misty Wood Drive, between Nov. 6 and 11, Someone broke into a vacant house reportedly taking stereo equipment and other small items.

Highland Reserve - Residential burglary, Halley Glen Drive, between Oct. 6 and Nov. 5. Jewelry from a jewelry box reported missing. 

Highland Reserve - Theft from a vehicle, 200 block of Waterfield Drive, between 4 p.m., Nov. 6 and 6:15 a.m., Nov. 7. Laptop reported stolen from an unlocked pickup.

Stanford - Vehicle burglary, 700 block of Pleasant Grove Boulevard, Nov. 7, between 4 and 4:30 p.m. Laptop computer reportedly stolen from the back seat of a parked locked car in a grocery store parking lot.

Stanford - Vehicle burglaries, 751, Central Park Drive, overnight Nov. 8 and 9, someone smashed the windows of a two cars in an apartment complex lot. A backpack with college textbooks, an iPod and an emergency roadside kit were reported stolen.

Stanford Crossing - Theft from a vehicle, 9600 block of Fairway Drive, Nov. 11 between 9:50 and 11:45 p.m. Music CDs and a backpack containing shoes, money and an iPod reported stolen from unlocked parked vehicle.

West Roseville

Woodcreek Oaks - Catalytic converter stolen, Culligan Court,  overnight Nov. 6 and 7. Catalytic converter reported stolen from a parked Toyota Sequoia SUV.

Quail Glen - Theft and vandalism, 1200 block of Canevari Drive, overnight, Oct. 31. Two large blow-up style Halloween decorations reported stolen from front yard. The owner found them down the street, cut up and destroyed.

Quail Glen - Residential burglary, 8000 block of Ryan Taylor Way, Nov. 6, between 8:15 a.m. and 5 p.m. Window reportedly pried open. Jewelry reported stolen from a bedroom.

Blue Oaks - Vehicle burglarized, 10000 block of Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard, overnight, Nov. 4 and 5.  The window of a van parked in an apartment complex reportedly smashed. Printer maintenance equipment reported stolen. A neighbor later reported having heard glass breaking, and seeing two males standing by the burglarized van. The suspects left in a red Dodge van.
