POLICE: Parollee Fired First in Shooting of Officers

Shootout leaves six officers wounded and leads to hours-long standoff in Roseville.


Police in Roseville say the parolee who injured six officers fired first, according to the Santa Rosa Press Democrat.

Samuel Nathan Duran, 32, was taken to Placer County Jail after the incident.
