A woman was assaulted in Roseville over the weekend by a man who was stealing shopping bags from her car, according to reports on the Sacramento Bee and News10 websites.
The incident happened around 7 p.m. Sunday at a Bel Air in Roseville; the woman confronted a man who was taking three JC Penney bags from her front seat, according to News10 and the Bee.
"When the woman confronted the man, he punched her in the face and fled on foot with the bags, said [Roseville Police Sergeant Karl] Dyer," News10 reported.
