Oakmont High Drama Says 'Thank You' with Free Show

Saturday's matinee of Oakmont High School's "Little Shop of Horrors," is free.

The Oakmont High School drama department is giving thanks to the community with a free matinee showing of this spring musical "Little Shop of Horrors."

A theft left the school's spring musical in jeopardy, but .

Approximately during a March 10 theft and Roseville businesses, community members and students collected donations and held fundraisers to raise that money and keep the show going.

In a Facebook message, the Oakmont High drama department wrote:

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! ATTENTION FANS: We are completely overwhelmed with the support that we have received from the community since the accident. You guys have not only supported us monetarily, but emotionally and lovingly and have given us the continued willingness to do what we as high school actors. In light of this, we have decided to offer this Saturday's 2:00 matinee, as a completely FREE, no obligations showing to those of you who donated money or supported us in any way. Just our way of saying thank you so much!
